His Majesty King Abdullah II attended on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Jordan’s Independence Day and the 101st anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt, in the presence of his wife Her Majesty Queen Rania and their third child Princess Salma which was held at Raghadan Palace located in the Royal Court compound of Al-Maquar in Amman, Jordan.

Upon the King’s arrival, he was officially received with a 21-gun salute and the national anthem was played. After they watch "The Independence Story"documentary, which highlighted the milestones in the march of the Kingdom, since its establishment until modern day.

Thursday's ceremony was attended by Royal Family members notably His Majesty's siblings HRH Princess Alia bint Hussein, HRH Prince Feisal with his wife Princess Zeina, and HRH Prince Hashem, uncle HRH Prince El Hassan who attended with his son HRH Prince Rashid and daughter in law Princess Zeina Al Rashid(wife to Prince Rashid), Princess Ayah(daugther to Prince Feisal) & her husband Mr. Mohamad Halawani,  Prince Hussein Mirza(son to Princess Alia bint Hussein, then nephew to His Majesty King Abdullah II) & his wife Lama, Princess Rahma bint El Hassan & Mr. Alaa Batayneh, Princess Ghida Al Talal with her Son prince Hussein bin Talal, Prince Ali Bin Nayef and Princess Reema, Prince Asem bin Nayef & Princess Sana Al Asem and senior officials and officers and others.



Her Majesty earlier today posted a couple of behind the scenes pictures with HRH Princess Salma sharing some mother-daughter moments while getting ready for Jordan’s 71st Independence Day celebration.
