His Majesty King Abdullah II accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania and HRH Crown Prince Hussein welcome Australia's Governor General H.E Sir Peter Cosgrove and Her Excellency Lady Cosgrove at the Al-Husseiniya Palace.

Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth's representative in Australia arrived in Amman on Wednesday at the Queen Alia International Airport on a several-day official visit to Jordan as part of a regional tour.

On arrival His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Excellency were shown a welcome which showed Jordanian pageantry at its best. They reviewed a guard of honor as a military band played the national anthem of both countries.
